About |
The Collator class library provides sort compare functions and SortFields for collections and for the DataGrid component. It can be used in Adobe Flex and Adobe Flash CS3 projects. It supports several national collation orders, like Hungarian, German, etc. Currently 30 languages are supported. The library is distributed with documentation generated by ASDoc.
After purchasing the library you can use all of the predefined national collations, including those which will be defined in the future.
If the supplied national collation orders don't satisfy your needs, you can define your own collation order.
The compare functions and SortFields support multigraphs (digraphs, trigraphs, etc.) (a multigraph is two or more letters treated as a single letter). |

In Flash CS3 the component can be found in the "FXComps" folder in the components panel. |
