About |
With a few, easy to setup, parameters you can easily add the ultimate flash vr panorama to your website in 5 easy steps:
1. Make your panorama image.
2. Import the image in your Flash Authoring Environment (Flash MX 2004 or Flash 8) make it a movieclip, and create a unique identifier for it.
3. Drag and Drop the Flash Panorama VR Pro component to the stage and specify your panoramic image.
4. Customize the parameters for the immersive effect that simulates the cylindrical environment, enter the identifier for the panoramic movieclip inside your library.
5. Resize the width of the component (will resize the horizontal mask width). The height will be taken from the height of the panoramic movieclip. 6. Compile the .fla and deploy to the server.
A flash demo of how easy is to make the panorama work, can be viewed here.
There are 5 parameters you can configure from the properties panel:
1. immersion:Number (default=1); values from 0.1 to 3 are most suited. This variable is direclty proportional with the immersive effect.
2.number_of_slices:Number (default=60); values from 40 to 200. Many slices = smoother effect. Less slices = fast movement, large image. The effect is gained using may slices of the panorama image and the same number of vertical maskes that are all zoomed and sized using complicated math formulas to get the immersion view.
3.pan_mc:String ; the name, the unique identifier, the linkage of the movieclip inside the fla that will be loaded (note that the panorama component will not load external movies), it uses the attachMovie function, so you need to put the panorama movie inside the flash file containing the panorama and link it.
4.speed:Number (default=4) ; the speed of turning, max value = 15
5.version:String (default='immersive'), values: 'immersive' and 'non-immersive'
It is recomandable to use _quality='medium'; in your flash movies containing the panorama, because of the 100's masks that are making a lot of movements and because of rotating methods.
For controlling the motion left-right, you need to use 2 parameters:
the first is panoramaInstance.coef (values 1 and -1) controls the direction of moving (left or right)
the second is panoramaInstance.speed (values from 0 to 30) 0 will stop the panorama. integer values work best.
Zooming and vertical scrolling is not embed in this version of the panoramic flash viewer component.
The flash panoramic viewer that we sell here doesn't support hotspots or virtual tours. It is designed only to embed a panoramic movieclip image inside a slice-based vr player and give the user easy control over it. Do not purchase this component if you want to load dinamically multiple images inside the component or if you plan to implement hotspots.
