The TextLoader Component is developed for Flash MX 2004 and above. It can be used for load and display text from external text files by specifying the text file name in the component properties panel.
The following is the example of a sample text file content:
a=<font face="Tahoma" size="11">This is the <b>text loaded</b> from <u>external text</u> file with <font color="#003366">HTML formatting</font> property enabled.<br><br>You can use all the <u>Flash supported HTML tags</u> in the text file to format text.<br><br><font color="#003366"><li>This is bulleted text</li></font> |

Usage: The following are the properties available for this component:
1) _TextFilePath - Path of the text file to load (contents of the text file should be placed in a variable like a=contents).
2) _TextVariable - Variable in the text file to load (Example: a).
3) AutoSize - Controls automatic sizing of text field.
4) Background - Whether text field requires background fill or not.
5) BackgroundColor - The color of the background fill if Background property is set to true.
6) Border - Whether text field requires border or not.
7) BorderColor - The color of the border if Border property is set to true.
8) Editable - Whether text field can be edited or not (works only if Selectable property is set to true).
9) HTML - Whether HTML tags are enabled for the text field or not.
10) ScrollBar - Whether the text field should have a scrollbar or not (works only when AutoSize property is set to false).
11) Selectable - Whether the text in the text field can be selected or not.
12) Text_Height - Sets the height of the text field (works only when AutoSize property is set to false).
13) Text_Width - Sets the width of the text field (works only when AutoSize property is set to false).
14) TextAlign - Sets the alignment of the text field (works only when HTML property is set to false).
15) TextBold - Sets the text to bold in the text field (works only when HTML property is set to false).
16) TextBullet - Sets the bullet formatting to the text in the text field (works only when HTML property is set to false).
17) TextColor - Sets the color of text in the text field (works only when HTML property is set to false).
18) TextFont - Sets the font of the text field (works only when HTML property is set to false).
19) TextItalic - Sets the text to italic in the text field (works only when HTML property is set to false).
20) TextSize - Sets the size of the text in the text field (works only when HTML property is set to false).
21) TextUnderline - Sets the text to underline in the text field (works only when HTML property is set to false).
22) TextWrap - Wraps the text in the text field (works only when HTML property is set to false).
Note: Most of the properties work only if the HTML property is set to false. If HTML property is set to true you can use Flash permitted HTML tags for formatting text in the text file.
